Gabby The Tabby

I didn't realize it's been 11 days since my last post. Wow - well I haven't done much but work and deal with the snow. So I thought I would share images of my kitty.

Gabby the Tabby was born roughly around August 7, 2000. She was dumped with her littermates at the vet office where my mom worked.

I adopted her from the vet and have had her ever since.

Here are some pictures from her early life - I don't have her kitten pictures scanned in.

Here are some of her and my dog Bria - who passed away in 2007.

In 2012, I learned that Gabby was blind. Her pupils are overly dilated giving her a look of extreme surprise. You can't see the pretty color anymore.

She will turn 15 this year - and I am grateful daily for this little fur ball.

Dreamcatchers

I don't recall at what age I learned to make them. I always loved them and over time have made so many in varying shapes.

I thought I would share some of them with you.

Let It Snow - I guess

Living in Colorado, I am used to the snow, but there are days it SNOWS. Today is one of those. At 6:30 AM I had 4 inches of snow (I live at 8000 feet in elevation - town is 7522). Town had about 2 inches. Tonight when I got home there was much more on the ground - I am guessing close to 6-8 inches - but its drifting so no accurate measure. It is still snowing at 9:50 PM and the wind is blowing now.

But for those that like snow pictures - I thought I would share a few with you.

Have a happy February - looks like mine is going to be snowy!!
