NaMoPaiMo - National Model Painting Month - February 2026

 

Entered on January 28 - myself and the droids! 

And amazingly - I have painted on the model, even though I haven't felt like working on art. 

Now to get it done by Feb 28 - I was hoping the 17th to start off Fire Horse Year, but I know now that's not realistic. 

And I barely finished her on Feb 28th. There was a lot of outside drama in my life and I didn't feel very creative. I painted about once a week. 

This was her on Febraury 25th (photo above) with all of her layers of oils done. Today (Febraury 28th) I started with her pearlex, pan pastels and acrylics and worked the day through. She turned out very good in the end and I am happy to have completed her.
