Gluten Free Finds September 2026

I have been gluten free due to celiac since 2021.

I fought it for a long time. I hated eating gluten free at first, because it reminded me of my childhood when I had to go a week to ten days eating only bread and water because they didn't know what ADHD was and thought something I was eating was making me hyper.

I went gluten free and it made me feel better, BUT I hated that I had to prepare my own meals. Eating out because difficult and premade stuff tasted like yuck. I was never into cooking. There's a lot of trauma for me behind making food, let alone being starved as a child for medical reasons, then being anorexic in my teens and twenties. Food has been an issue for me.

So, this year, I decided to write about things I find that are gluten free premade and that I make myself.

Here is a list of things I can and can't have. With premade stuff I have to look at the label for the Gluten Free Symbol.

These were left on the give away counter at work. THEY ARE amazing - the taste is great and so soft!! Loved them.

I was excited to try a biscuit mix - I have to say - this one is BLAND BLAND BLAND - it wasn't hard to make, but wow, they were not something I will purchase again unless I added something else to them.

Easy to make and VERY good in taste - Love these and would buy again.
