After 82WORLD:LA - the rest of my California trip

So 82World:LA was a new experience for me - I have never been to a KPOP festival - just concerts in venues.

It was fun, however, I found out that this was the first event and that explained SO much all the kinks I saw.

1) Club82 was VIP - they WAY oversold this - it was not a VIP experience. I expected something like RED WHITE AND BOOM in Kansas City that I have been too a few times - where VIP literally got front stage, all sorts of goodies and experiences. This was not that. It was a mosh pit. Don't run out of VIP stuff  just because someone chose to come at 3 pm and not 1 pm.

2) Bathrooms - you need people cleaning them hourly at a minimum - having real flushable toilets was great and not having to use port-a-potties, however, cleaning cleaning cleaning.

3) Food - Figure there are going to be people there with food allergies and HAVE SOMETHING they can eat if you can't reenter once you leave so people don't have to go 8 hours without food.

4) Water - the water stations were AMAZING - free - and so so helpful! HUGE PLUS HERE.

5) Give the bands longer sets.

6) ADA - I am not even going to go into this - SO MANY ADA folks were treated like livestock - LITERALLY in a livestock pen - are you kidding me????

I would go again if I knew improvements had been made.

Monday I was lazy for a bit and finished packing. Had to check out by 11 and my model horse friend Katy picked me up at 10:30 ish. We went to Pasadena and Monrovia. And never got a picture - so here's our official picture. We ate at a fun cafe and she had to head to work.

I got a lyft to my hotel for the night. Relaxed for a bit then met up with my cousin Teri. Tina was on her vacation so couldn't meet up. I had to get pictures of Palm Trees, just because!

Teri and I had a fun time at Rainforest Cafe in Ontario.

They had a great Gluten free pasta dish AND BAKED french fries - SO GOOD

and we even got one of their overpriced photos!

Then on Tuesday I flew back to Colorado!

82WORLD: LA - KPOP Weekened October 17-18 - - - Part 3

I slept in and relaxed, then I messaged Deb about what time - I was thinking 2-ish and she was thinking the same.

I got there before her and handed out some freebies, then met her at the 82World Globe. We went through the ATINY line and then made our way over to the CLUB82 area - we were closer to the stage than on Saturday, and more center, however, I have to say - for paying for a VIP experience, I really didn't feel VIP as there were HUNDREDS of people right center stage front.

The best purchase of the day was a $20 pink parasol as it kept me from turning in a LOBSTER! I am keeping it and going to decorate it with XIKERS and ATEEZ.

Ateez did various things throughout the day.

First was the BAD dance challenge - I had put in for this, but was not selected to dance and in that heat - I was okay with that. We watched it on the big screen from the main stage.

Seonghwa from ATEEZ leading the dance challenge.

Then there was the WOOSAN A-rcade.

Wooyoung and San play games and did mission challenges. It was funny.

Then came TINY RADIO with Captain Hongjoong and Maknae Jongho. It was set up like a radio show Q &A. The funniest part was having them convince a father to come to their shows with his daughter.

Jongho: I will take care of your daughter.

The father in front of me sitting with his daughters looked straight at both of the them and said "You can't like that boy!"

I don't think I have EVER laughed that hard.

Jongho's smug face after he said he would take care of your daughter.

Next on the list was a Listening Party with Mingi - I think everyone thought this was going to be like him playing favorite songs or something.

No - this was a FIX ON mini concert - of all of Mingi's solo songs!

Then it was the wait for ATEEZ

They came out of the floor and tried looking like the SAJA BOYS from KPOP DEMON HUNTERS.

They had a great set list - amazing!

WOW - it was an amazing concert and WAY TO SHORT!!

Had to walk up the street a few blocks to catch Lyft and back to the hotel before 8 pm. What an amazing day.
