Big Ocean -KPOP Concert

Big Ocean is one of my top 7 KPOP bands. Ateez is always my #1, however, Big Ocean holds a special place. All of the band members are hearing impaired. They wear hearing aids or have cochlear implants.

They sing in Korean and English, and they SIGN in KSL (Korean Sign Language), ASL (American Sign Language), and ISL (International Sign).

They played the Bluebird Theater in Denver. I bought a ticket for the concert but not for the fan sign stuff, photo ops, etc, as I am going to see Ateez later this month and am saving everything I can for them.

There are three members in Big Ocean:

Top: Lee Chanyeon - main rapper and the oldest member, who acts cute and playful as if he was the maknae (youngest) of the group.

Middle:  Park HyunJin (PJ) - main vocalist of the group and  content creator spreading awareness about hard of hearing individuals

Bottom:  Kim Jiseok - main dancer and maknae (youngest) of the group - who was a skier that was in the 20th National Winter Sports Festival for the Disabled

For more info find them -  KPOP Profiles or their website BIG OCEAN.

I drove down after work. 2 freaking hours to go fifty miles because of the F___ing traffic. Got to my hotel and finally got to the theater at 6:45 (doors opened at 6 and I had hoped to be there by then to socialize with other Pado (fans of Big Ocean), but that didn't happen.

I did have a great seat - third row from the stage in a corner - it was the PERFECT spot!!!

This was the spot - GREAT spot.

My favorite picture of the show!!

They came through the audience and walked on stage right past me!

They had background that had the songs in Korean and English and an English signer and a Korean signer on either side of the stage, during costume changes they played videos that had sign language on them and some of their videos.

They did say Denver was the loudest venue and their new fave city ๐Ÿ˜ผ

They sold 500 of 550 seats  - that's what was said at the venue, but other sources show they were sold out.

It was a great concert!
